Frequently
Asked Questions
Do you offer installation?
No. We strictly print and ship. Our goal is to be a reliable partner to installers, not a competitor.
What is the standard turnaround time?
Typical production time is 2–4 business days after payment and proof approval; shipping time varies by carrier and service. Rush options are available for an additional fee depending on current capacity.
Do I pay before or after printing?
All orders must be paid in full before production. Supported standard products show the exact price as you configure them and move directly to secure checkout. Unusual jobs without an implemented price use a separate Custom Order Request or Material Request with secure payment instructions.
Do you drop-ship directly to my clients?
Yes. We offer blind drop-shipping. The package will arrive in a plain box with no Ink & Orbit branding on the packing slip or labels.
Is there a minimum order?
There is no strict minimum. Configure a supported standard product, see its instant price, and check out immediately. Custom material minimums are handled separately through a Material Request before payment.
What materials do you use?
We support 3M, Arlon, and Avery graphic films only. General-purpose small stickers and flat promotional decals use Arlon DPF 4500G calendared vinyl and are priced on the invoice until a retail rate is approved. Vehicle decals and long-term automotive contour-cut graphics use laminated Avery or 3M cast vinyl at $6.32 or $6.92 per sq ft. Every vehicle wrap uses 3M IJ180mC or Avery Dennison MPI 1105 premium cast with matched cast overlaminate. Wall Graphics use exactly Avery MPI 2610 Permanent or Avery MPI 2611 Removable, both without lamination at $5.27 per sq ft.
Will you check my file before printing?
Yes, we pre-flight all artwork for resolution, bleed, and formatting issues. However, you are ultimately responsible for color accuracy, spelling, and layout unless you hire us for graphic design.
Do you send proofs?
Yes. We send a flattened approval mockup/proof for review only so you can confirm layout and crop before printing. When Ink & Orbit creates your design, you receive only a flattened approval mockup/proof for review. Ink & Orbit retains production artwork, vehicle templates, layered and editable files, scaled files, panel layouts, and print-ready output. Hard copy color proofs are available upon request for an additional fee and will add time to your project.
What happens if my package arrives damaged?
If a box arrives damaged, please take photos before opening it, and photos of the graphics inside. Contact us within 24 hours so we can initiate a reprint and a claim with the carrier.
Can you match a specific Pantone color?
Yes, we can hit most solid coated Pantone colors. Please provide the exact PMS code in your order notes. If color is critical, we highly recommend purchasing a hard copy color proof.
What if I need help designing a wrap?
Our design service supports large-format layouts and vehicle mockups. Add our flat $149 Design Help service at checkout with 3 revisions included at no extra charge. When Ink & Orbit creates your design, you receive only a flattened approval mockup/proof for review. Ink & Orbit retains production artwork, vehicle templates, layered and editable files, scaled files, panel layouts, and print-ready output. Larger branding projects use the separate Custom Order Request path.
What do I confirm when I submit artwork?
By submitting a logo, photograph, character, trademark, design, or other content for printing, you represent that you own it or have all permissions and licenses needed for Ink & Orbit to store, reproduce, prepare, print, and ship it. Ink & Orbit may refuse or pause content we suspect is unauthorized.
Are vehicle window-perforation products legally compliant everywhere?
Window perf is available in supported 50/50 and 65/35 perforation patterns. Purchaser and installer must verify applicable vehicle-window, visibility, registration, and local legal requirements before ordering or installing.
How are shipments tracked and covered?
Tracking is provided; insurance or declared-value coverage depends on the selected carrier service and order.
How long do I need to wait to install?
We outgas all cast vehicle wrap prints for a minimum of 24 hours before lamination to ensure the adhesive is not compromised. Once it ships, it is ready to install immediately upon arrival.
